LOCAL EVENTS
The 5 local events that Richmond Vale Accademy designed and implemented focused on understanding the connectivity of plastic and ocean pollution in the St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The goal was to understand the problem of plastic over-use and identifying possible solutions
During the 5 events that were implemented in different location of the island (Petit Bordel, Rosehall and Richmond Vale) we had the chance to train and inform the participnats on the Self-assessment on plastic use; Solutions to ocean pollution; Building a framework for youth project and EU programmes for international cooperation.
The range of participants was between 12 and 30 years old and the workshop. The participants learned practical ways of reducing plastic pollution by recycling and using local bio degradable materials. Theoretical explanation complemented by practical action and many other things.
